Ribadesella "Excellence Tourist Town" and "Picos de Europa Beach". Both of these definitions clearly define some part of much of what a traveler may find in this council. White sandy beaches an abrupt stonecutters where you can find dinosaurs tracks of the Secondary Era. Although the most patent print that reveals man occupied this resort, are the numerous rupertrian caves disseminated right throughout the council as it is shown by the most famous and international of all of them, Cueva de Tito Bustillo, which houses one of the best picturesque rupestrian assembly in the world, a km long fantastic galleries. Mediaeval ruins, roman churches, bridges, palaces, emblazoned houses..., witnessed the events which forged this land.
We must point out the special gastronomy offer of the area: fabada (special beans stew), fish an shell fish from the Cantabrian sea, red meat, Asturian cheeses, arroz con leche (rice pudding), etc.
